akhir-akhir ini blog ini jarang update gara-gara si dast ini pengen banget bikin toko online nih….hheu…..
dari minggu kemaren sibuk searching engine yang cocok di pake buat toko online si dast ini… :D , akhirnya setelah merenung dan tertidur… :p ……..Pilihan tetap menggunakkan engine wordpress plus plugin e-commerce yang terkenal karena SEF (search engine friendly) katanya dan mudah menggunakkannya….tadinya sih sempet nyoba pake joomla plus e-virtuemart yang katanya juga powerfull tapi waktu di coba emank sih keren tapi loadingnya itu wuih lelet kali….. :D:D
Akhirnya toko online si dast ini jadi deh, meskipun masih belum puas coz tampilannya garing..hehe…… Tapi beberapa hari kemaren sempet mampir ke blognya om brokencode dan liat satu postingan yang keren banget, yaitu tentang WP theme yang di sulap jadi engine e-commerce gitu…..
nah liat dech penggalan postingan om brokecode di bawah ini…..
Dear All,
Aku sedang membuat, atau lebih tepatnya mentransfer tampilan keren Presta Shop menjadi sebuah WordPress Theme. Meski fitur-fitur shopping cartnya tidak selengkap dan secanggih Presta Shop, namun cukup mewakili kebutuhan UKM atau bisnis-bisnis retail lainnya. Cocok bagi mereka yang telah familiar dengan WordPress dan terlalu rumit untuk berlaku ke full e-commerce. Cukup mengadaptasi penggunaan custom field saja, theme WordPress ini siap melayani customer online tanpa plugins tambahan lainnya.
INSTALASI
Seperti biasa, cukup upload folder PrestaPress ke folder wp-contents/themes dan aktifkan melalui admin panel.
FITUR
- Image thumb dengan menggunakan kehebatan file timthumb.php
- Shopping Cart dengan menggunakan NOP Javascript Shopping Cart
- Integrasi dengan payment gateway : Paypal.com, Authorize.net, Worldpay, dan LinkPoint
- dan masih banyak lagi
Fitur dan script masih dalam tahap pengembangan dan perbaikan. Saran dan koreksi dari pemakai sangat dinanti untuk menyempurnakan theme ini hingga benar-benar mendekati kebutuhan akan sebuah e-commerce yang solid dan secure yang tentukan (sangat) mudah digunakan.

You need these custom field keys for your catalog :
- price : Unit price of your product. Leave it blank if you want to show “Call For Price” to replace price.
- shipping : Shipping fee per unit product. Leave it blank if you want to show “FREE” to replace shipping fee.
- status : Status of your product. Eg. Big Sale, On Sale, Big Discount, etc.
- spesification : Your product spesifications. Use<li> and end it with </li> for each spec.
- image : The URL of your image product. Upload it using wordpress uploading feature and copy paste the URL.
Due to sensitive nature of thumb.php file, some (poor) web hosting will not allow you to run this script, eg. hostgator.com, etc. Contact your web administrator regarding their security rule to mod_security on apache and PHP. The script will create a new folder named ‘cache‘ in theme folder to store resized images. If your theme folder is not writeable, create manually and give writeable permission to ‘cache‘ folder.
You need to create these pages as required by this theme and use page template provided by me (off course :P) :
- about : A story about your company and product/services. Add an image to the custom field with key=image. An excerpt of this page and image will display on homepage.
- contact : A contact form for visitor to send you a message or something.
- contact-action : Contact form action to send message to administrator email.
- archives : Your blog archives page, or you may say it ‘old style sitemap’.
- cart : To view shopping cart in a special page and as action page for every product form submitted.
- check-out : Check out page.
- check-out-action : Use to send order list to administrator email. Final action of order.
A custom permalink structure required :
- [blog url]/page < the permalink structure for static page.
- [blog url]/category/[category name] < the permalink structure for category page.
Don’t forget to create a category called : Featured. 5 products of special category will show on right sidebar sitewide. Yes, sidebars is widgetabled, but I don’t recommend to custom your sidebars with widget. Let it be just like I already arrange :D.
You need the change the currency into yours? Well, I have not think about it yet. If you want to change it, you need to edit some files that display price and js/nopcart.js file on line 88.
… and also change the language? Open file js/language-en.js, and translate it yourself :D
Ow … message and order action will be sent to your blog administrator’s email. You can change it on Admin Setting area.
Yes, payment are conventional with bank transfer. If you are going to use payment processor, modified form action for file checkout_action.php
And you should sign-up to get an account on FeedBurner.com. Edit file right-sidebar.php on line 68. Change the word ‘PASTE-YOUR-FEEDBURNER-ID-HERE’ with your own feedburner id. Your customer who subscriber to your post will acknowledge every update of your product by email. Subscriber emails is managed by Feedburner, so you don’t have to be worry about their privacy and bothering you manage your customers updating information.
